Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BeGlocal (operated by Arka Global Holdings, "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to beglocal.com. We are committed to handling your data with respect and transparency.

What we collect

When you submit our waitlist form, we collect:

• The community identifier you enter (zip code, neighborhood name, or town name)
• The timestamp of your submission
• The page you submitted from (e.g. "beglocal")

We do not require an email address to claim a community. If you choose to provide one separately, we use it only to notify you when BeGlocal launches in your area.

Like every website, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs basic technical data — IP addresses, browser type, referring URL, request timestamps — for security and analytics purposes. We do not use this data for advertising profiling.

How we use it

• To map demand for BeGlocal across communities and inform launch planning
• To notify you (only if you provided contact information) when BeGlocal becomes available in your area
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or attacks on the service

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing profiling.

Where it's stored

Waitlist submissions are stored in a Google Sheet hosted on Google Workspace. Server logs are stored by Cloudflare under their standard retention policies. We do not maintain a separate database for this site.

Third parties

• Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, and edge security (privacy policy)
• Google — Sheets backend and Apps Script (privacy policy)
• Google Fonts — webfont delivery for the page typography

Your rights

You have the right to know what we hold about you, request deletion of your submission, and ask questions about how your data is used. To exercise any of these rights, email legal@arkaglobal.io with the community identifier you submitted.

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively. We honor all of these.

Cookies

BeGlocal does not set tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set technical cookies required for security and bot mitigation. These are essential and not used for advertising.

Children

BeGlocal is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the BeGlocal homepage.
